its become obvious in my floor-drobe lately that i am slightly obsessed with stripes. in no way do i feel nautical but they just keep appearing out of no where, so do the over the top sequin'd garments that repeatedly keep dressing on my body. what has happened to winter fashion this year. its definately not its usual blacks greys and bland colouring of sorts. i am in love with whats going on. its warm and humble-ishly inviting, which fashion should be all the time. it seems common to always hear the phrase, you are what you eat. truthfully, its not what you eat, its what you wear. fashion in the cooler months definately reflects on how you are feeling come rain or shine. its the unusual and architectural structures that keep me emotionally warm through winter. bring on the continuation of pattern clashes and chunky recycled layers.
i pulled out some of my accessorising broken pieces and collectables today. i have an urge to rebuild and make new of what i have collected over the past 6 years. i love the over the shirt collar look thats happening at the moment, with clashes of pearls, mixed metals and pendents. the more you mix the better.
enough about the cold weather. i have finalised all my new york bookings and i leave in one month today. it can not come quick enough!! get my out of normality and trick my system into new living and loving patterns. after going on about winter, it has occured to me that summer is going to be upon me in 4 weeks. oh boy i dread packing, this is going to be a tough trip. who doesnt want to take all their collectable wardrobe goods to new york?? im going to need a team to jury the decissions for me. alenka, liana, im going to need your help on this one. skype, no skype. it must be done.
there is not a lot going on in this head of mine apart from the above, so i will keep this one short.
