walking walking so much walking

i have just flicked through the oldness of the blog and notice i complain about never keeping up with the moment. now the time has come for me to stop with the yabbing and continue with the yarning. i use to be a over talker but after todays adventures i have realised im quite a subtle silent person.

my mum and dad are in sydney at the moment and today we walked and walked and walked, and walked. starting point my humble home in paddington, we set foot to the beautiful centennial park where we breathed the fresh air and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. its funny what conversation comes up when your isolated with nature and your parents.

tracking on, we ended up at bondi beach, where according to the rents it was to chilly to walk the sand ( thats the whole point of the beach ) so we trecked to the cliffs and looked over the view of the clear ocean and the crazy surfers paddling the icy water. i think my parents are jealous im so close to the ocean, i kept rubbing in how i am killing for summers arrival. setting off again back to bondi junction where i was in need of some sort of sugar hit, we stopped for a chocolate break at m. brenner, where we listened in to peoples business meetings and personal problems, and then strolled back to my home where after crashing to the couch all i heard was complaints of sore feet and uncomfortable shoes.

well mum and dad, i love you lots but this is your pay back for all those family holidays where my brother and i had to walk and walk.  im glad the rain stayed high and dry today. thank you weather gods. i love days in sydney where the sun is warm but its cool enough to not be sweaty. i wonder where my next walking adventure will take me?
