To clog clop or not to clog?

Some might say they are the noisiest shoe, but the traditional dutch milkmaid clogs (era 1900) have slopped their way back onto the runway and they are beyond noisy. BAD NOISE
As a style i would not walk into the clog is more cloppy chic than ever! transformations from Karl Lagerfield at Chanel, Marc Jocobs for Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren have allowed for the clog to bring back the 70's into the 20-10's. Fashion houses have designed the cloppy clog as far away from its humble traditions using the aesthetics of clunky height and conspicuous material, I mean studs i dig but purple pony hair and tassels - No!
Could spring/summer 10 be the mix up of organic ugliness?
